About

Hi, my name is Georgia Lagoudas, and I am the Student Association President for Rice University. I would like to share what I am learning as President of the Rice student body, and this is where I will tell you exactly what I find out about Rice on a day-to-day basis. This is the way for you to get updates on important decisions made by the administration, hear about upcoming projects, learn what things go on “behind the scenes,” and just get a feel for what it is like in the daily life of the SA President!

I hope that you will find some of this information useful, interesting, and perhaps entertaining. I won’t be offended if you feel bored out of your mind – just let me know! I want to tell you what you want to hear, so input is always appreciated. I want to make you feel connected to Rice University and a part of all of the decisions that are made. This is our time as college students, our college experience, and our chance to make this an even better university. I’m excited to bring new changes to this campus that will benefit everyone, and I think it’s crucial to make YOUR VOICE heard.

If you have an opinion, take INITIATIVE. And the Student Association is here to help. Tell your concerns or ideas to someone that can help you make a change – talk to your Senator, your College President, any of the SA Executive Members, or find me anytime. We are ready to help you and make sure your idea or concern is directed to the right person, and we can start a new project to implement your idea.

It’s that simple. The SA can make it happen.
